She goes about her business… in a care free way
The joy of laughter… and a genuine smile
Are just a couple of gifts she offers… that makes it worth while
She thinks of others… before considering herself
Always caring and giving… not worried about wealth
She has to be from Heaven… because she’s been through Hell
Weathered, tattered, and torn… but she did not fail
Yes, there are angels among us… they come in every size
You don’t have to believe me… just open your eyes
They are right in front of you… take a look around
Always wearing a smile… and never a frown
I have been fortunate… to say the least
For I have seen an Angel…so let me repeat
I have seen an Angel… I am proud to say
Sometimes we even get to talk…almost everyday

The one born of goodness… and so full of love
She is my best friend…a friend like no other
